Jul 27, 2015 · I would first pull valve covers & re torque heads to (300 foot pounds )before adding the stop leak . The leak is coming from the counter bore on the sleeve . Not a big deal as noted . Looks like a major problem but it's just a little coolant coming out under the counter bore & running down the side of the block .

Dec 04, 2020 · On my 1999 FL with 5.9 there is a bleed valve in the back. Right above the radiator cap. Maybe 3-4 inch's above and looks like a petcock valve. There is a small sticker that says something like open when filling coolant. A year ago or so I follow the small hose from the valve it go's to the center upper block or head. After a pressure test, my mechanic said the water pump is leaking slowly. About $800 labor and parts to change but he can't do it until next week and I have a 2,000 mile trip pulling 5t leaving tomorrow I NEED to take. Should I dump in stop-leak or just carry some coolant as I go and not worry...
